About Michelle Phillips

Blending spiritual leadership and practical strategy to help communities thrive in faith, service, and connection.I’m passionate about helping communities thrive. In my current role as Mission Center President and Financial Officer, I provide both spiritual and organizational leadership across a multi-state region. That means I get to do everything from mentoring pastors and supporting youth programs to overseeing finances, strategic planning, and community partnerships. It’s a mix of vision-casting and practical problem-solving, making sure our resources align with our mission of peace, justice, and compassionate community. Before stepping into this role, I worked in healthcare operations, content marketing, and volunteered in nonprofit spaces. That background taught me how to streamline processes, tell compelling stories, and connect people around shared purpose, all skills I now use to help congregations and ministries flourish.I believe leadership is about creating space where others can grow, find their voice, and feel supported. Faith and work both come down to this: fostering connection, building something that lasts, and walking alongside people as they discover their purpose and passion.
