About Michelle Lowther
I began in the hospitality industry in 1990 and spent most of my career in hotel sales and operations. In June 2006, I saw a niche need in the market. In response to Hurricane Katrina, I developed an innovative housing program focused specifically on business continuity & disaster recovery, in which hotel accommodations for critical personnel are guaranteed to be available if and when they\'re needed. There is nothing else like it! I have a team of people in multiple locations that are dedicated to business continuity and disaster recovery housing, so our clients are always guaranteed a quick response 24/7. • Our innovative program saves clients money. During hurricane season, for example, our clients have rooms that are GUARANTEED in each recovery city for the entire hurricane season, but they pay for less than 5% of them (assuming no deployment). Our mission is to leverage Continuity Housing\'s tens of millions of dollars in hotel buying power to provide efficient, cost effective housing solutions to our business continuity and disaster recovery clients. It has been our experience that the housing component is often forgotten or procrastinated when it comes to creating a business continuity plan. It doesn\'t have to be that way! We speak \"hotel\" and can assist you with any hotel, anywhere in the world, as an extension of your team.
