About Michelle Krumland
Experienced, passionate, creative, with a background in education, the arts, and non-profit administration. After having taken a break from full-time employment to focus on my artwork, I am excited to bring my skills and creativity to my next job placement, and look forward to working as part of a team. An overview of my skills and experience includes:•Graduate degree in education with an emphasis on museum studies•Work environments include museums, library and bookstores, non-profits, schools and retail settings•Work experience includes administration, customer service, teaching, marketing, retail sales and event coordination. •Museum work includes teaching, exhibition/education evaluation, family programs, and leading tours •Administrative work includes research, membership, editing newsletters, and student services support•Retail work includes bookstores, boutiques, museum store and my own Etsy shop with experience in sales, receiving, shipping, inventory control and marketing.•Practicing artist with an emphasis in drawing and painting, with additional experience in ceramics, textiles and photography•Certificate in Natural Science Illustration My work as an artist has greatly enhanced my skills in creativity, attention-to-detail, and recognizing patterns and trends. In our current world, I believe that creative and flexible thinking are paramount to many organizations. In addition, my time working in education, administration and retail have taught me how to be a resourceful and effective team player. Also, I understand the importance of creating work environments that are fair, engaging and supportive to all.
