Michelle Fitzpatrick, who brings the insight from 40 years of top-level experience in the A/E/C industry, leads Marketivity. Before starting the firm in Portland, Oregon, in 1998, she was Vice President for Corporate Development and Marketing for a national ENR ‘Top 50’ firm and held marketing managment positions with architectural firms in the Midwest and Texas. Michelle is an in-demand presenter on a wide range of A/E/C-related topics for industry organizations including the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), ACEC, AIA and AGC. She has authored numerous articles and white papers as well as the chapter on surveys in SMPS’s The Marketing Handbook for Design and Construction Professionals. Michelle is also the go-to expert on research within our industry. She has held numerous leadership roles with SMPS, including as a Trustee and President of the SMPS Foundation—the premier A/E/C marketing research organization- from 2008 through 2014.
