ABOUT MICHELLE MICHELLE HARRIS KENNA

I’m a problem-solving enthusiast who loves diving into data, untangling complex issues, and crafting clear, actionable recommendations that make a real impact. Currently, I’m a Research Associate at the U.S. Sentencing Commission, where I dive deep into criminal justice data to help shape smarter, evidence-based policies. Before that, I worked as a Management and Program Analyst at the DOJ Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys. There, I supported senior leadership across EOUSA, the DC USAO, district offices, and DOJ inter-agencies during critical moments, including January 6th, earning an Exceptional USAO Support Award for my efforts coordinating with detail management staff and multiple agencies.With dual BAs in Criminology and Political Science plus a Public Affairs Certificate from the University of Florida and an MS in Criminology from the University of Pennsylvania, I’m equally comfortable geeking out over research as I am navigating real-world policy and program challenges.I thrive when juggling fast-paced projects and collaborating with diverse teams - basically, I love a good challenge. Outside of work, you’ll find me beating my Goodreads reading goals, sweating it out at Barry’s or CorePower, or fiercely competing at bingo (yes, I take my bingo seriously).
