About Michelle Drouin

I am a research psychologist (B.A. Cornell University, D.Phil. University of Oxford), endowed professor, forensic consultant, and keynote speaker. My research, which focuses on technology, sexuality, alcohol and consent, intimate partner violence, romantic relationships, social media, mobile phone addiction, and sexting, has attracted international attention from prominent media outlets, including TEDx, CNN, NPR, MSNBC, CBS News, The New York Times, Huffington Post, Reuters, Men’s Health, Parenting Magazine, and Psychology Today. My book \"Out of Touch: How to Survive an Intimacy Famine\" was released in 2022 by MIT Press and examines human connection and intimacy in a technological world. I am the owner and founder of FP Consultants, LLC, and serve as an expert witness and consultant in both military and civilian courts for legal cases involving sex assault, intimate partner violence, sexual solicitation, and Internet crimes.
