About Michelle David

I am an Industrial Hygienist with a strong interest in investigations, particularly relating to mold, fire, indoor air quality, and sewage intrusions. I developed my background by conducting building assessments related to asbestos and lead in buildings constructed in the early 1900s. I also conduct employee exposure assessments for noise and airborne contaminants in indoor and outdoor industrial settings. I am always interested in broadening my professional knowledge base and learning about new ways to conduct investigations.Currently, I am enjoying working with insurance clients to assist them with evaluations of fire-damaged buildings. Working in this area allows me to consult with a number of forensic particulate analysts and chemists. Specialties-Investigations of large water losses (e.g, floods, sprinkler line breaks, etc.), mold and moisture assessments, fires, and related remediation design and oversight-Indoor environmental/air quality and odor investigations-Assessing the impacts of fire residues on buildings-Large scale, in-depth asbestos surveys-Training: HAZWOPER 40 hour, Clandestine Drug Lab cleanup, Mold in Construction, custom training for special environmental hazards (e.g, mercury flooring removal)-Monitoring workers for exposure in factory and outdoor settings
