As the sole UX Designer and Web Manager, I led ABIRC’s digital transformation by launching their first e-commerce marketplace and redesigning their main website to better serve community members, small business vendors, and internal staff. I worked closely with stakeholders to ensure that the platforms aligned with ABIRC’s mission and were accessible, scalable, and easy to maintain.Key contributions-Designed and launched ABIRC’s online marketplace, expanding digital visibility for local Asian-owned small businesses and streamlining vendor onboarding-Redesigned ABIRC’s main website to improve navigation, accessibility, and engagement for users seeking resources, events, and services-Digitized internal processes by moving key workflows online, including grant applications, vendor registration, and conference sign-ups — reducing administrative workload and improving user experience-Conducted user research and usability testing to inform UX decisions and prioritize high-impact improvements-Delivered end-to-end design deliverables, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma-Managed content updates and performance optimization on Squarespace to ensure a consistent, user-friendly experience-Balanced the needs of diverse stakeholders while working within tight timelines and budget constraints.This role combined UX strategy, hands-on design, and web management to deliver meaningful digital solutions that supported ABIRC’s mission of economic empowerment and community engagement.
