About Michelle Belforte Hauser
I’ve been a video editor for a time now and I love what I do. My core skill is collaborating with producers and directors to interpret, communicate and enhance their messaging with compelling videos. I thrive on balancing multiple projects with many stakeholders and tight deadlines; taking concepts from pre-production through final delivery, tailoring content for maximum impact on all platforms: TV, Film & Social. I was recruited early on to be an assistant editor on feature films at PDI/DreamWorks. The editorial department, being the technical and creative hub at PDI, allowed me to collaborate with all studio departments and learn the industry from the ground up. I was quickly promoted to editor at DreamWorks and continued to hone my skills as a storyteller on feature films, including the Shrek franchise, Megamind, and Penguins of Madagascar.From the spring of 2014 through spring of 2018 I worked for Sony Interactive Entertainment, primarily editing marketing videos for the PlayStation brand. There I mastered promoting a brand, telling its story and developing its social media presence. From spring 2018 - present I\'ve been editing at Apple Inc. I first spent a year editing for the Retail Communications group, and am now working for the Apple Media Products department. Under the name Hauser Editorial, I am also editing an animated short film for Amazon Nimble Studio, the studio created in part because of the animated short film I was lucky enough to edit for AWS on behalf of Nimble Collective.I am always freelancing and looking for new projects.
