About Michelle Rivera
I began my career supporting NYC students in foster care, helping them overcome educational and behavioral challenges. I earned a Master’s in Global Affairs from NYU, gaining experience with World Vision International in Jordan and researching rural farmers\' roles in Colombia’s post-peace agreement rebuilding. I also interned at the UN’s ILO, developing data platforms for global labor market trends. At The Carter Center, I expanded the mental health journalism program to Ireland, managing a team and strengthening stakeholder relationships. Currently, as Fellowships Coordinator at The 19th, I oversee operations, research trends, and analyze data to guide fellowship decisions. I hold an MBA from Emory’s Goizueta Business School, specializing in social impact and strategy consulting, and am seeking opportunities in operations, strategy, and corporate social responsibility to drive positive social change.
