About Michelle Wo

I’m a clinical dietitian and clinical research professional with 7 years of experience caring for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, including oncology, GI, and critical care. My journey has always centered on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care—and over time, that led me toward clinical research.I’ve managed high-acuity patients, conducted detailed assessments (NCP, NFPE), collected and analyzed clinical data, and collaborated daily with physicians, nurses, APPs, pharmacists, and coordinators. These experiences strengthened my ability to document with precision, follow protocols, and communicate complex information in a clear, supportive way.My interest in research grew during my work in a GI clinic that actively participated in NASH/MASH clinical trials. I contributed to data collection, patient education, and protocol-aligned nutrition support. Later, at MD Anderson, I saw how research drives cancer care and how vital accurate documentation, outcome tracking, and multidisciplinary coordination are.My motivation for pursuing clinical research also became personal when my aunt’s stage IV lung cancer stabilized because of a therapy developed through clinical trials. That experience shaped my commitment to contribute to studies that meaningfully impact patient lives.Today, I’m passionate about combining my clinical background with my formal training in ICH-GCP, FDA regulations, informed consent, AE/SAE documentation, and regulatory compliance to support high-quality, ethical research. I’m motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to grow within a team that values accuracy, integrity, and patient-centered science.
