About Michelle Wiedenhofer
Michelle is the Manager of Data Operations and Analytics at Integrity Advantage. Since 2012, Michelle has served in a number of healthcare analytics roles, beginning with her career in the Special Investigations Unit as an analyst for a private health insurance company. She spent many years working in Business Intelligence, providing consulting support to streamline data and analytical tool strategy. She also consulted as a financial analyst in an Actuarial department. Michelle brings a uniquely thorough perspective representing multiple angles of the healthcare process from the payer perspective. With experience in applied statistics, she has developed many offerings, including a suite of 5 statistical classes and numerous technology trainings for Excel and other data-related courses. She developed and oversaw technical training programs, coordinating a team of trainers and dozens of classes. Michelle also helped initiate a Pharmacy Fraud Strategy by creating a PowerBI dashboard used cross-departmentally which led to a significant increase in identification of new cases and PBM recoveries on behalf of the payer. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from State University of New York (SUNY) College at Buffalo and earned a Master of Science from SUNY College at Buffalo in Professional and Applied Computational Mathematics. She sits on the Canisius College Advisory Council for the Master of Science in Data Analytics and the Master of Science in Business Analytics programs to provide perspective on entering the professional work environment from the educational setting.
