ABOUT MICHELLE WALLACE

I am a nonprofit leader with over 20 years of experience advancing child, family, and community well-being through program leadership, systems alignment, and mission-driven strategy.My career has spanned frontline service, program development, and executive-level leadership within complex social service organizations. Across roles, I have focused on strengthening families, building sustainable programs, developing leaders, and translating mission into measurable impact, especially in environments where resources are limited and the stakes are high.Currently with Buckner International, I bring a systems-level lens to family-serving work, balancing operational excellence, staff development, and community partnerships to drive long-term outcomes. I am particularly passionate about prevention-focused models, leadership development, and organizational cultures that support both accountability and compassion.I hold a Master of Public Administration and am pursuing advanced leadership studies to further deepen my executive practice. I am motivated by work that requires thoughtful decision-making, ethical leadership, and collaboration across sectors to address complex social challenges.I believe strong organizations change lives, and strong leaders make that possible.
