ABOUT MICHELLE RITTER

Michelle Ritter is a Banker in the New York City office of J.P. Morgan Private Bank. As a member of the Financial Sponsors Group, Michelle works with some of the most sophisticated clients in the area, including private equity principals and other investment professionals. She serves as a powerful ally to help them grow their wealth and leave a legacy for the next generation. Michelle understands that her clients are busy investors, and she serves as their conduit to the thought leadership, private placements and idiosyncratic opportunities reminiscent of a market leader. She is intent on simplifying their financial lives through strategic integration across the balance sheet. Michelle coordinates the firm’s specialists to present recommendations for alternative investments, banking, credit, estate planning and more. She curates a “repertoire of access,” including roundtable discussions and other networking events to connect like-minded individuals with similar financial scenarios. Throughout her career, Michelle has focused on the objectives of ultra-high-net-worth clients—senior executives, family offices, foundations, private equity and hedge fund firms, and multinational organizations. She is particularly skilled in the strategic aspects of relationship management, adapting her communication and work style to each individual, and engaging with them on personal goals. Regarded as a great listener, Michelle can synthesize complex situations into a coherent picture, making her a sought-after resource for second opinions. Before joining J.P. Morgan, she spent seven years on a Financial Sponsors team at Citi Private Bank. Michelle graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza School of Business, where she received an M.S. in Business. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a B.A. in Spanish. During the summers, she interned at GMG Consulting, rising to Associate Research Analyst.Originally from Connecticut, Michelle and her husband live in New York on the Upper West Side with their baby and dog. During moments of free time, she enjoys cooking, fitness classes and tennis.
