Nunn is president and CEO of CARE USA, which worked in 95 countries and directly reached 80 million people in FY2016. In her first year at the helm, Michelle deployed a bold strategic framework to guide and grow the organization\'s impact to 200 million lives by 2020 through scale and innovation. Michelle’s travel, nearly miles across 23 countries thus far, has taken her to the front lines of the world’s largest refugee crisis since WWII. After experiencing CARE’s work helping Syrian refugees, Michelle called for greater support of refugees and diplomatic resolution to the conflict. In addition, Michelle has visited with program participants in Ethiopia, Somalia, and Niger, listening directly to their needs and crafting targeted interventions to meet them.
