First full-time employee to launch and operate a program driving towards equitable outcomes for historically-underserved media partners and audiences across Meta. Developed mission, vision, values, positioning and narrative - drove the development of the early strategy and powered the operational muscle to drive social change through Meta’s Media Equity initiatives. First efforts focused on representation within Media Partnership’s partner sets with expansion to focus on progress towards equitable outcomes across the organization. •Led cross-functional workstreams across Product, Policy, DE & I, Marketing, Civil Rights, Legal, Social Impact, Data Science, and Engineering at the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic, through the Racial Justice Awakening – setting a framework for determining the issues critical to historically-underserved communities, developing content to address the needs (e.g, BET’s “COVID-19 Black America’s Fight,” Change Together - A FB Watch Original on Racial Justice) • Co-developed Meta’s $200M Relief Package for the Black Community with a team of senior leaders, contributing strategy across the investment, with primary responsibility for Meta’s initial $25M+ investment in Black creators, We The Culture (“WTC”). In Year 1, responsible for green-lighting 19 Facebook Watch shows, inking 120 content deals, and operating one of Meta’s most successful creator programs to date. In addition, operated 12 incubators/accelerators focused on different segments of media while partnering to launch the WTC consumer brand. Led the WTC program to a successful renewal and continues to lead new innovations/expansions into new territories, including “Dale Tú”, a program for Latinx & Hispanic creators.
