About Michelle Mitchell

Michelle is the Human Resources Manager supporting the New York office for Kekst CNC. She manages payroll and new hire on-boarding and orientation. She also provides expert counseling regarding benefits, policy and employee matters and is highly involved in the annual performance appraisal process. Michelle joins Kekst CNC from MSLGROUP where she was the Human Resources Manager for the New York office. Michelle was responsible for driving new hire on-boarding and orientations, employee recognition and engagement activities, performance management, merit and promotion cycles, HRIS accuracy, freelancer on-boarding and logistics, exit interviews and many other HR initiatives.Prior to MSLGROUP, Michelle was the Human Resources Generalist at the Halo Group. There she oversaw the HR Department and worked directly with the CEO and CFO to drive company growth and encourage a positive agency culture. Prior to The Halo Group, she was a Human Resources Coordinator at mOcean, an advertising agency in Los Angeles. Michelle brings great experience in recruitment, employee development, performance management and has experience working on employee relations and career growth initiatives. Michelle has a BA in History and English and International Studies Minors from Fairfield University in Connecticut. Originally from Los Angeles she received her Human Resources Management Certificate from Loyola Marymount University. She also obtained a Human Resources Generalist Certificate after moving to New York.Michelle is part of the New York Road Runners Club, running and volunteering in races throughout the year. She also enjoys cooking and has a passion for travel.
