Performs managerial duties overseeing the daily operations, four ream Managers, and staff of the docketing department. Works with firm management to implement a docketing program to ensure continuous service enhancements, cost reductions with creation of annual departmental budget and oversight of meeting budget goals including the hiring of new staff, and organizational consistency. Develop firm-wide training documentation, creation of e-Lessons, and webinars for docketing staff and firm Practice Assistant and Attorneys, manage projects and implementation of new software and upgrades. Work across departments to develop best practices and processes for practice groups. Writes User Rule sets for practice groups and firm administration.Interacts with software technical support staff and in-house IT to resolve problems and develop solutions as necessary. Reviews system logs and troubleshoots issues. Updates and tests software and court rule subscriptions as they become available. Strong client service work ethic, the ability to learn and retain detailed information about court procedures and documentation, strong organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines, the ability to work effectively as a Senior Manager and the ability to work well under pressure. Wors directly with Firm General Counsel to ensure risk management goals for the firm are met. Co-writing Civil Litigation Docketing book with an emphasis on core competencies, best practices and professionalism.
