Solution Technologies Ltd is an IT company specialising in data management software design and development. STL currently run and licence the CONTRACTOR TRACKER system within various UK organisations.CONTRACTOR TRACKER is licenced for use by companies to enable them to track their contractors and file all their documents remotely. Once licenced companies get their contractors to register with a one-off registration procedure. Contractors input all their company information, upload all their Health & Safety documents, which the system files, add their insurance details and any other files that are required by the appropriate department. Once this is done emails are generated to the correct personnel who then either approve or decline that registration according to their H&S procedures. If Approved, contractors can use the system and make access requests for all works they need to carry out. Making access requests is easy. Contractors follow a 6 step procedure where they fill in separate fields eg kind of work, date of work, men/women attending, upload site specific documents, give an exact location, upload permits if required, etc. Once this has been done the system again emails the correct person dealing with the job who then looks over all the H&S information and either approve or decline the works. If approved they can now get on site and do the job. Each contractor is signed in when he turns up and the system then generates in and out times making invoicing accurate. CONTRACTOR TRACKER is currently being operated by:Westfield Europe Ltd, Intu, The National Grid, First Group, Dundee University, Ninewells Hospital, Scotrail, Rivergate Centre, Jones Lang LaSalle, Buchanan Galleries - No1.shopping centre in Scotland and Ocean Terminal - busiest shopping centre in Edinburgh.
