ABOUT MICHELLE KELMAN

With over 17 years of experience in pediatric dentistry, I pride myself on the years of comprehensive and advanced dental care I\'ve provided for healthy and medically complex children and adults in both a clinical setting, as a private practice owner, and in a hospital setting, as a member of the Cedars-Sinai Pediatric Surgical Team. I\'ve been on staff at the UCLA School of Dentistry since 2008, and currently serve as a lecturer and clinical faculty at the UCLA School of Dentistry in the Section of Pediatric Dentistry and was an associate adjunct professor in pediatric dentistry at the USC School of Dentistry. Additionally, as a pediatric dentist on medical staff at Cedars-Sinai, Department of Surgery, I advise with other specialists and surgeons to deliver optimal oral health care for medically complex and neurodiverse pediatric patients. I am involved with research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and work closely with my pediatric medicine colleagues. I am a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) in Pediatric Dentistry, and have lectured and consulted internationally on various topics related to my expertise. I am passionate about advancing the field of pediatric dentistry through education, research, and collaboration. I am also a member of the Female Founder Collective, a network of women-led businesses that support and empower each other, a medical expert for online parenting platforms, such as whattoexpect.com, and an expert witness for dental related legal cases. I am a board member of the American Dental Cares Foundation and a Fellow in the International College of Dentists.
