ABOUT MICHELLE HOWE

When I was 20, I decided to apply for the Disney College Program. I was shy and had never left home, but somehow my love for Disney pushed me outside my comfort zone.Everything about the Disney College Program was scary and I thought about quitting numerous times. I was in uncharted territory. I moved states away from home, I was living with people I didn’t even know, and I went in not knowing where I was working or how much I would be working. Despite getting the hardest attraction job you could get and working long, strenuous hours, I kept going. I am the type of person that never gives up. Once I say I am going to do something, I will make sure to follow through with everything I have. I am grateful for the Disney College Program because it got me out of my comfort zone, it pushed me out of my shyness, and it helped instill determination. I now use that determination and perseverance to work as a Marketing Coordinator for Locke Lord LLP. I may no longer have to tell people to, “Have a magical day!”, but I do try to make as much magic as possible in everything I do. I am well-versed in proposal preparation, social media platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM softwares, creating marketing materials, maintaining client relationships, working with third party companies to produce PR content, websites, and business development materials, planning and preparing presentations, attending networking events, developing budgets.the list continues to grow.
