As the Project Lead for a major undertaking, I am leading the Feasibility of a 283-key Grade II listed hotel in London. This ambitious project encompasses a comprehensive, extensive refurbishment and reconfiguration, and strategic repositioning, transforming the property into an entry-level 5 luxury* destination.Driving the Vision and Execution:I wear several hats in this pivotal role:Leadership: I assembled and manage a high-performing team of project consultants, overseeing their briefing, contract negotiation, and scope development.Strategic Direction: I defined the project scope in collaboration with a branding agency, ensuring the repositioning resonates with the London market and aligns with brand vision.Financial Acumen: I oversaw design development and value engineering, maximizing return on investment for the bedroom reconfiguration.Communication & Coordination: I chair weekly design and cost team meetings, fostering collaboration and ensuring progress meets budget and schedule.Stakeholder Engagement: I lead bi-weekly board presentations, delivering impactful reports on design concepts, budgets, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies for potential challenges related to the hotel\'s historical features and existing condition.
