About Michelle Graeber

I am an undergraduate student at the University of San Diego pursuing a dual-degree BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. My passion lies at the intersection of technology and health, especially in health sensing within wearable devices. However, my curiosity extends to solving a plethora of complex problems where cutting-edge technology can revolutionize efficiency and performance. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation in engineering principles, programming, and design processes. I thrive on tackling real-world challenges, especially in collaborative environments. Within medtech engineering, I am particularly interested in how wearable devices can improve health outcomes for individuals in vulnerable communities, such as those living with chronic-illness. Outside the classroom, I enjoy staying active through hiking, running, and other recreational activities. I have a deep appreciation for music across all genres, and I love spending time with friends and family. My diverse liberal arts education is shaping me into a more conscious engineer, allowing me to approach problems with a holistic perspective and a strong emphasis on ethical considerations. I am an effective communicator and enjoy working with others, especially in leadership roles. I look forward to connecting!
