About Michelle Gonzalez

I\'m originally from Mexico and started my undergraduate degree at University of San Diego and after two years transferred to American University. I am currently majoring in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing, which aligns with my career goals in the field. From a work experience perspective I’ve had the opportunity to intern at Gonvill for two years in a row. During both internships I worked closely with the marketing team on media strategies for the company and helped them prepare for Q3, their most important season of the year. Upon completing my internship with Gonvill last year, I was also invited to work with Grupo Planeta to support them in organizing an important event in Mexico City, further expanding my knowledge into event coordination. My ability to communicate effectively has allowed me to thrive both as a leader and a team member. It contributed to my success as Activities Director at the University of San Diego and continues to support my roles at American University—serving as Founder and Vice President of the Marketing Association, Vice President of Events and Logistics for Kogod Women in Business, and Marketing and Sales Director of the Mexican Cultural Club. I enjoy traveling because it gives me the chance to experience new cultures and create lifelong memories. In my daily life, music—especially reggaeton—is a constant source of inspiration, energy, and motivation.
