This includes working with stakeholders including: Risk Management, ITS Architecture, ITS Security, Privacy, OGC, Procurement, Learning and Development.• Developing our deployment plan for generative AI within the audit practice. This includes considering all risks and benefits to the business and planning our strategy to ensure these tools are deployed to deliver the maximum benefit while mitigating any risks to the business. There is also a significant education piece to our deployment given how new these technologies are. • Telling our technology story both internally within the firm and externally to clients.

I am a seasoned audit professional with a 15-year career, the last 8 of which have been dedicated to the integration of technology in audit processes. My work in the past year has been focused on deploying generative AI tools to auditors, a task that requires a deep understanding of various factors including the risks and benefits and how to navigate issues related to compliance with relevant standards. My expertise is further enhanced by a Master of Science in Accounting for Cognitive Analytics from SFU that I received in 2021.
