About Michelle Edwards

With over eight years of experience in government administration, architecture, construction, and urban planning, I am a passionate and professional Assistant Project Manager at WSP, a global engineering and consulting firm.In my current role, I draft Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for design and construction projects, assist and support the project management team throughout the project life cycle, and lead Project Manager on small capital projects under $500K. I also specialize in sustainability projects, such as the Sportspark Renovation Project, which involved infrastructure, energy reduction upgrades, interior reconfiguration, and a brand-new exterior entrance for the recreation facility. My core competencies include urban planning, sustainability, project management, and government administration. I have a Master of Urban Planning from Hunter College and hold OSHA 30 and FEMA certifications. I am strongly interested in improving communities through public policy reform and sustainable urban planning and design practices.
