It was a dark and stormy night.\" That was the phrase that started it all for me in second grade, when a mimeographed Snoopy \"story starter\" worksheet invited me to finish writing a tale about my favorite cartoon character. Five messy printed pages later, I was hooked. Since then, I knew that creating with words was my calling.Fast-forward (a lot of) years. I\'m now an experienced communications professional who works in the consulting industry, translating critical (and sometimes very technical) information into readable stories, compelling infographics and interactive multimedia experiences. I\'ve built a strong base of experience in digital strategy, financial journalism, web video, marketing and writing style. Practically speaking, I have a bachelor\'s in technical writing & editing and a graduate certificate in marketing strategy - but I also hold a master\'s in English literature for fun. Reading and writing, with a side of poetry, will always be my passions, and I\'m especially excited when I have a chance to apply them to solve real-world challenges and help people feel connected and informed.
