ABOUT MICHELLE DIXON

I am an experienced C-suite Executive and Non-Executive Director with deep leadership, commercial, governance and operational experience in public and private companies, and the government sector with SME experience within the property, legal/risk, government, maritime and aviation (Transport), entertainment and performing arts, venue and facilities management, retail and construction/projects industries. I am currently Managing Director, Client Services at BGIS APAC, part of a global property and FM company, passionate about driving strategic outcomes and people leadership. I have P&L accountability (revenue c1bn) nationally for blue chip accounts across sectors including leisure, aviation, government, healthcare, resources, corporate, Defence and utilities. I have also led functional areas such as Safety, Enterprise Solutions, Transitions and Transformation/PMO as well as having responsibility for engineering, sustainability, finance and safety resources within my operating teams. As a member of the APAC Executive Team my responsibility includes working with the CEO and Global Executive and Board to influence the direction of BGIS\' growth and sustainability in the APAC region. I have served as a member of the BGIS Women at BGIS Global Committee, BGIS Global Innovation Council and APAC RAP Committee. Prior Executive roles include Executive General Manager of Hospitality & Industries within the Downer Group reporting to the CEO as a member of the Executive Team. Responsible Executive for over staff and more than $720m in revenue. From 2008 to 2018, I lead a diverse range of both functional and operational teams as a Senior Executive with the NSW Government in the roles of Deputy CEO of the Sydney Opera House, Executive Director, and General Counsel/CRO/Co Sec including reporting to the Board. I am a commercial lawyer with 23 years\' experience including as General Counsel at Sydney Opera House and as a Senior Associate at Ebsworth & Ebsworth practising commercial, property, insurance and international law in international and domestic jurisdictions.I am an experienced Non-Executive Director having served as Chair and director of an education board in Sydney and as a Non-Executive Director for a national and international touring performing arts company. I have also served a term as a Non-Executive Director at Zinc Facility Services overseeing the Zinc joint venture at Federation Square in Melbourne. I am a current board supervisor on a BGIS entity in China.
