Founded in 2010, Equity Recovery Solutions (ERS), is a California based revenue and tax recoveryboutique firm. Specializing in Sales & Use Tax Recovery services and Reverse Audits. For 14 years,ERS has learned the best way to service our clients is to analyze their needs first. By analyzing ourclient\'s business structure, their data, and spending first- we lay the foundation to execute an area ofour expertise. Developing a unique plan to maximize client recoveries.ERS does not operate by any standardized work method. Our work is done through our proprietaryhome-grown project tracking system, which automates our refund tracking process and manageseach step of our recovery reporting. This allows us to secure better refund results while improvingour recovery processing lead times. Enabling our ability to oversee the entire refund process for ourclients with limited oversight. From inception to completion, no matter how long the claims take topay out.Over the last 14 years, we have collected large volumes of product-specific transactional data fromclients that have already been reviewed, researched, and coded for taxability. Along with historicaltax and appeals decisions from the Board of Equalization (BOE), the California Department of Tax andFee Administration (CDTFA), and the Office of Tax Appeals (OTA). Our extensive database alsoincludes vendor information, exemption basis (if products have been previously claimed), andinformation on partially taxable products and product kits.WHAT WE DO:Obtain historical data and sales tax returns.WE FOCUS ON:Where taxes have been paid, either directly to the state of California, or to a vendor who soldsomething.OUR OBJECTIVE:Locate where tax has been over collected, to get that money back from the state, and into ourclient’s hands.OUR FEES:We work in only one type of fee structure, Contingency, where ERS is owed $0 if we do not find a refund.
