About Michelle Chau

Award-Winning Engineer and Program Manager leading complex projects involving manufacturing, product development, technology, automation, innovations, and integrations. The projects I oversee are very large in scope and are complex. I love solving problems, leading the team, and working on the new innovations to deliver the results that the company wants. For me it is satisfying to continuously move on to another bigger project or multi-projects and grow as a leader. I am known for delivering results and continuously exceeding goals and expectations. I pursued my MBA at UW to enable me to move into the management area. My managers have identified me as a servant-leader, which is pretty accurate. I enjoy working with people at all levels. My teams are cross-functional and often include outside vendors. I coach my team members to foster their success and see them become more productive.I have been a leader in a cause close to my heart, that being, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. At Boeing, I have been the President of the Structure Engineering Diversity Council and actively work with senior management on diversity initiatives and issues. Currently, I am President of the national Society of Chinese American Aerospace Engineers – NW chapter.I’m happy to connect here on LinkedIn as I enjoy meeting new colleagues.
