About Michelle Capron

I have an extensive background in office administration, purchasing, human resources & payroll, shipping & receiving, and general office management. I also ran the Glens Falls Figure Skating Club for 7 years, producing several annual club programs and events. I continued to support the club and assist in organizing their annual skating competition for several years.In 2020 I published a second cookbook - FIGURE SKATERS\' FAVORITES - MORE RECIPES FROM FIGURE SKATERS AROUND THE WORLD (see info about the first book below). This book features 450 recipes from members of the skating community, including several World and Olympic Champions! A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the USFS Memorial Fund in honor of the 60th Anniversary of the 1961 US Figure Skating Team who perished in a plane crash on their way to the World Championships. In 2009 the Glens Falls Figure Skating Club published FIGURE SKATERS\' FAVORITES - A COLLECTION OF RECIPES FROM FIGURE SKATERS AROUND THE WORLD. This beautiful, gift-quality cookbook featured 450 recipes from over 270 skaters, including many Olympic and World competitors. Contributing skaters include: Scott Hamilton, Oksana Baiul, Kurt Browning, Joannie Rochette, Rachael Flatt, Mirai Nagasu, Calla Urbanski, Kitty & Peter Carruthers, Victor Petrenko, Richard \"Mr.Debonaire\" Dwyer, Caydee Denney, Taylor Firth & Molly Oberstar (stars of the new \"Ice Castles\" remake), Sandra Bezic, and many more.(Complete list available on our website, SkatersCookbook.com). The GF FSC presented SALUTE TO THE HEROES on 3/26/11 at the Glens Falls Civic Center. This very special ice show commemorated the ten-year anniversary of 9/11 and honor our veterans, military and emergency services personnel. Melissa Bulanhagui and Kendall Wyckoff were our special guest skaters.
