In my current role as Senior Clinical Specialist I am responsible for driving utilization of a monthly injectable medication for opioid use disorder. I call on Healthcare Providers, Substance abuse Clinicians, Nurses and Peer advocates in a variety of treatment settings. These include Residential programs, Hospitals, Detox programs and Outpatient treatment programs. I re-joined Indivior in May, 2021 and have been the driving force behind the activation of ten treatment programs now offering the injectable treatment option to patients. The product that I currently represent is part of a REMS program and is only acquired through a specialty pharmacy or buy/bill pathway. I am well versed in educating Healthcare Providers and staff about managed care coverage under all payor types: Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial payers. I also provide education to Providers regarding patient assistance programs and patient support resources. I am well versed in presenting patient support resources and financial assistance programs to Healthcare Providers. I represent a specialty injectable medication covered through specialty pharmacy or buy and bill only.Throughout my career I have worked with medications in the following Specialties: Psychiatry, Urology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Pain Management, Podiatry, Endocrinology and Gastroenterology.Prior to my career in Pharmaceutical Sales, I worked for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
