Michelle is a member of both the Manitoba (inactive) and Alberta Bars, having been admitted to the Alberta Bar in April In Winnipeg, Michelle practiced primarily in Family Law before joining Vogel LLP in November of Michelle’s practice focuses on Family Law, including the resolution of issues that arise on the breakdown of a marriage or common law relationship. She is a skilled negotiator and has favourably resolved numerous cases involving parenting arrangements, child and spousal support and the division of property. Also, to help customers avoid potential litigation, Michelle drafts and provides advice with respect to Pre-nuptial and Cohabitation Agreements. Michelle has successfully appeared in all levels of the Alberta Courts on contested matters. Michelle is a trained Mediator and Registered Collaborative Family Lawyer, and is able to identify and explore the best options for each family law client, so as to best meet their individual needs, whether it is litigation or a form of alternative dispute resolution.
