ABOUT MICHELLE BERRY
I’m a technologist and ecologist driven by a deep care for both people and the planet. I hold a BA and MS from Stanford in Human Biology and Earth Systems, where I focused on ecology and climate. I began my career studying harmful algal blooms in Lake Erie, publishing several papers on freshwater microbial ecology and biogeochemistry.Over the past 8 years, I’ve worked at mission-driven tech startups, scaling software systems at growth-stage companies and building products from the ground up as a founding engineer. Across all of it, I’ve been drawn to complex, interdisciplinary problems and to work that sits at the intersection of technology and social impact.I care deeply about how we apply technology: what we build, who it serves, and what kind of future it supports. I’m especially excited by the growing momentum around tech-enabled approaches to conservation, climate resilience, public health, and the clean-energy transition.
