I am a director in Steptoe\'s Government Affairs and Policy Practice Group. In this position, I work with clients to tell their stories to federal decision-makers. I seek to advance legislative and policy objectives by building relationships with and serving as an informed resource for decision-makers. With over 25 years of experience in policy-making, government relations, issue advocacy, and strategic planning, I have a proven track record of leading bipartisan solutions in various domains, such as technology, infrastructure, corporate governance, and congressional reform.My mission is to bridge political divides, build cross-functional teams, and transform ideas into active projects that advance policies for the country. I have successfully launched and staffed several initiatives, such as developing an artificial intelligence national strategy that led to legislation that passed the House of Representatives, and creating advisory groups that issued consensus-driven, bipartisan policy recommendations. I thrive in organizations where I can leverage my skills in executive communication, consensus building, coalition development, and managing high-performance teams to serve the public interest.
