Family Therapist, Youth Worker and Clinical Family Therapy & Counselling Supervisor with over 30 years experience. Please refer to the Australian Association of Family Therapy AAFT website for further contact information or email m••••••••@optusnet.com.au I am a Clinical Member of the Australian Association of Family Therapists AAFT and completed a Clinical Master of Clinical Family Therapy at the Bouverie Centre, La Trobe University in 2005. I am also an Accredited Clinical Supervisor with AAFT. Provision of Clinical supervision for counsellors, family therapists, youth workers, social workers & case managers. I find the provision of Clinical Supervision is both enriching and rewarding. It provides an opportunity to share practice wisdom, expertise and experience. Over the years I’ve had the privilege of supervising Family Therapist’s to obtain their Clinical Membership with AAFT. I am passionate about working systemically with young parents, babies and children, young people and their families/significant carers. Connecting with genuine warmth, care and compassion can enable each individual to feel valued and empowered to reach for their goals. Social justice means standing up against obstructive systems, violence and destructive cultural attitudes that continue to oppress. The pursuit of social justice is the reason that I remain dedicated and impassioned by coming alongside parents and children, young people and their families. Through ADVOCACY, dedicated support and encouragement, over many years I have witnessed individuals, families and communities break through barriers with strength and confidence!
