ABOUT MICHELE WAY

I have spent several years within the health care environment with my speciality therapeutic areas being Mental Health, Lung Health, Chronic Pain, Palliative Care, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology and Telehealth. As a Clinical Leader, I coordinated the day-to-day operations of a designated nursing unit and supervised staff. I was a clinical resource to nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members, providing direct care to patients as needed. I assisted in promoting research and quality improvement initiatives within the program. As a Consultant, I use my expertise and experience in building relationships through strong account management skills and fostering positive communication with all stakeholders. Skilled in strategic planning, project coordination, presentations, budget management, successful product launches and motivational interviewing. I possess valuable knowledge of the British Columbia reimbursement landscape for specialty medications and how to navigate through complex reimbursement scenarios. I am a very organized and dynamic individual, an effective problem solver with a strong acumen for innovative solutions. I strive to provide a high level of patient centric collaborative care and superior territory management in highly competitive markets.
