ABOUT MICHELE RIONDINO
With twenty years of academic and professional experience, I currently serve as an Adjunct Professor of Law at John Cabot University in Rome, teaching International Children’s Rights and Comparative Legal Systems. In this role, I contribute to fostering awareness and understanding of child protection laws while integrating ethical governance principles into academia. Recently, as the Head of the Children\'s Rights Study Centre at Telefono Azzurro Foundation, I collaborated on national and international initiatives and research projects promoting children’s rights and child protection policies. My dedication to education and advocacy is also demonstrated by my previous role at the ACU Law School in Sydney, at KU Leuven, at Pontifical Lateran University (Rome), at IADC-Gregorian University (Rome), at UCAM (Murcia & Madrid), at LUMSA Law School (Rome), and at Heythrop College (London). In all these academic institutions, I delivered courses in International Children’s Rights, Canon Law, Comparative Legal Systems, and Law Religion and Society. Through teaching, research, and publishing multiple works on Canon Law and Children’s Rights in Italian, English, Spanish, and Portuguese, I aim to empower future leaders to champion the protection of vulnerable people. Together with my academic commitments, I have always been involved in advocacy for children’s rights and child protection for public and private institutions and associations worldwide.
