ABOUT MICHELE DRAKE

After being raised on a row crop farm in Indiana, Ag is in my blood. My 23+ years in the Ag business started, other than around the dinner table, in the scale house of a local ConAgra, now Gavilon elevator weighing trucks led to becoming Lead Accounting Clerk, then to Originator, then finally to Grain Merchandising, while running a freight book as well in the 20 years spent with the company. After leaving Gavilon, I joined Indigo Ag as a Grain Marketing Specialist. Indigo vastly opened my eyes to a wider set of customers and interesting issues across the Midwest and challenged me in ways I never imagined! Along with Merchandising grain, I have been able to work with Product, Designers and Engineers and contribute to changing Agtech as the world knows it today. At AIO Ag/AIO Capital, where I utilized all my previous experiences as a Regional Grain Marketing Advisor as well as a Series 3 Licensed Broker. My passion has always been in risk management and relationship building to increase both the business and customer ROIs. By combining all the previous experience and skills, I joined the team of One Degree Ag as a Senior Associate. Utilizing my industry experience to assist both ag companies in finding a great candidate and candidates in finding their desired next role. I also hope to grow our 300 acre farm to a more productive and profitable venture to provide the next generation (my son) a place in this ever changing world of Ag!
