For 30 years, the Aviation Suppliers Association (ASA) has served as a not-for-profit association representing 1,100+ member companies worldwide—supporting logistics programs, purchasing efforts, and the distribution of aircraft parts across the global aviation supply chain. Through government affairs, ASA maintains communication with agencies worldwide to keep members informed. Accreditation & certification leadership: • Accreditation organization under FAA AC 00-56 • ASACB is ANAB-accredited for ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001:2015 and aviation space and defense standards for AS9100, AS9110, and AS9120 Training: Practical workshops, webinars, networking meetings, and an annual conference to help professionals stay current on quality expectations, regulations, and emerging issues. Quality: Through its Quality Committee, ASA shares best practices, develops guidance, and advances continuous improvement across aviation parts distribution. ASA-100: An internationally recognized quality system standard for aviation distributors, supporting consistent processes and traceability. The ASA-100 audit program supports approvals/recognition through the FAA, EASA, and CAAC. ASA has also been recognized by the FAA for Database Management and the Industry Voluntary Accreditation Program—reinforcing its commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.
