ABOUT MICHELE CATANZARO
I work as General Counsel of Starlight, NextEnergy Group division dedicated to the development of renewable energy projects within an international context. As Starlight\'s General Counsel I am working in Italy, Greece, Romania, Canada etc. I joined NextEnergy Capital in 2015 as Head of Legal assisting the company especially in extraordinary transactions like as M&A transactions, asset disposals, financing, etc. I have a long experience in the renewable energy sector, with focus on asset management, merger and acquisition and project financing transactions. I started my renewable energy career in 2007, involved in the development and construction and financing of several photovoltaic projects across Italy.On 2009, I became the head of the legal department of Etrion, an independent power producer that owns and operates utility-scale solar power generation plants. I provided Etrion with legal assistance in developing, building, financing and operating 60MW PV Plants in Italy.I hold bachelor’s degree in law, with focus on civil and commercial transactions, from the Bocconi University of Milan. On 2009, I completed the bar exam before the Court of Milan. I am member of Associazione Nazionale Giuristi di Impresa (AIGI).
