Works closely with title companies, homeowner’s insurance companies, county offices, and related departments: Underwriting, Closing and Funding, Appraisal, Secondary Market, etc, to ensure a seamless sale of loan.• Leads and trains team to ensure proper and timely purchase of loans while adhering to stakeholder loan requirements.• Performs detailed post-closing analyses of closed loan packages to determine compliance with Agency and Investor program guidelines.• Audits loan files for submission to agencies for endorsement/guarantee, loan salability, post purchase request and deficiency resolution.• Validates loan level data within the Loan Origination System (“LOS”) and corresponding agency & investors to ensure that loans are free of deficiency.• Collaborates with the Post-Closing Manager on how to facilitate best practices and implement new procedures within the PC department that will increase the timeliness of getting loans purchased.• Designs procedures that will help the entire Suspense Team to work through the multiple Investor sites that will allow for timely and efficient response times.• Facilitates investor suspense times to expedite the purchase process including making outbound calls, sending emails, and researching to obtain and submit supporting documentation to clear suspense conditions timely and minimize monetary penalties.• Runs daily reports to track purchasing of loans and has complete understanding of what loans are in an aged status. Deploys strategy and direct resources to resolve age loans timely.• Cures conditions by contacting title companies, brokers, origination teams, appraisers, etc.• Provides vision and inspiration to peers; Team Lead in managing “q” reports to meet tight deadlines; schedules team calls; takes on a natural collaborative approach for decision-making.
