About Michele Alt
My colleagues call me “the regulator whisperer.” I’m a lawyer by training and 22-year veteran of the OCC, where I served in various roles, including as District Counsel and Assistant Director. Six years ago, I co-founded the Klaros group with three brilliant and similarly battle-hardened partners: Konrad Alt (yes, my life partner, too), Brian Graham, and Adam Shapiro. We now have 10 partners, and a deep bench of employees and advisors. Together, we have advised hundreds of bank and fintech clients on strategic matters essential to their businesses. At Klaros, I built and lead the premier bank licensing advisory practice in the U.S. I truly love what we do here because it matters and we’re great at it.
