ABOUT MICHELA FIUZZI
A strategic thinker, defined by an empathetic approach to resolving issues, an infectious enthusiasm and a strong belief that the gift of talent is not an excuse to stop learning! I am an advocate of the power of collective thinking, and stand by the mantra that great things are accomplished when great minds work together. I have a solid background in both the Healthcare sector, with great focus in Medical Education at a global level, and in Teaching English to ESL Learners. My appreciation of Authentic Communication in English has laid the foundation for my own Disruptive Method of Learning & Teaching English. However, my key objective is to use this ground-breaking approach to create a new generation of Constructive Communicators where people are genuine in their willingness to understand each other. When teaching students or peers, I live by the quote best representing my mindset “There is something to be learned every day, both by looking in the mirror at yourself and by looking at the people around you.” [Antoni Cimolino, Artistic Director of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival] I imagine an Inclusive World where everyone – regardless of origin or educational background - can speak at least a basic level of English, to communicate. Originally from Cesena, Emilia-Romagna, I lived, studied and worked in London for several years and currently live near Rome. Also a book, travel and tattoo addicted, with a passion for films, TV series and Mexican food - not necessarily in that order. “The power of vulnerability” by Brené Brown, is my favourite TED Talk which I strongly suggest that everyone should view.
