ABOUT MICHEL DE CHAMPLAIN

Holding a PhD in Software Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal, Michel de Champlain has more than half a century of experience in R&D in the design and implementation of compilers, real-time operating systems, and virtual machines, as well as practical experience in C/C++, Java, and C# programming languages, in both industrial and educational contexts. For the past 30 years, he has given presentations and seminars on embedded systems. He also designed and implemented the B# language to facilitate embedded-system development through his specialized coaching and training firm, DeepObjectKnowledge. Dr. de Champlain has always worked closely with the industry to help implement best practices in software engineering. Truly passionate about his work, he has trained thousands of people in Quebec, Canada, the United States, Europe, and New Zealand.Titulaire d\'un doctorat en génie logiciel de l\'École Polytechnique de Montréal, Michel de Champlain possède plus d\'un demi-siècle d\'expérience en recherche et développement dans la conception et la mise en œuvre de compilateurs, de machines virtuelles et de systèmes d\'exploitation, ainsi qu\'une expérience pratique des langages de programmation C/C++, Java et C#, tant dans les milieux industriels que dans le milieu éducatif. Depuis 30 ans, il anime des conférences et des séminaires sur les systèmes embarqués. Il a également conçu et mis en œuvre le langage B# pour faciliter le développement embarqué, par l\'intermédiaire de sa firme spécialisée en coaching et en formation, DeepObjectKnowledge. Dr. de Champlain a toujours travaillé en étroite collaboration avec l\'industrie pour contribuer à la mise en œuvre des meilleures pratiques du génie logiciel. Véritablement passionné par son travail, il a formé des milliers de personnes au Québec, au Canada, aux États-Unis, en Europe et en Nouvelle-Zélande.
