I work as the QA Manager for InstaVolt, the largest provider of Electric Vehicle chargers in the UK. I\'m responsible for the software team, ensuring our on-site and off-site QA have everything they need to assure the UK\'s largest fleet of EV chargers remain operational for the thousands of customers we serve each day- Lead and mentor a team of software testers, both onshore and offshore, providing guidance and support to ensure consistent, high-quality performance- Manage team workload and distribute tasks efficiently to meet deadlines- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to foster team development- Identify risks related to quality and delivery timelines, and proactively implement mitigation strategies- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for various software projects- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, priorities, and objectives- Utilise tools and frameworks to streamline the testing process and improve test coverage and efficiency- Oversee the execution of manual and automated tests across unique Web and Mobile platforms- Track, analyse, and report test results, metrics, and defects to IT stakeholders- Conduct, analyse and review user feedback and real world metrics- Work hand in hand with the Product and Project Management teams, designing and reviewing features, converting them to JIRA tickets with actionable items, giving estimates to all work, before placing them in achievable sprints.
