I enjoyed the honor of serving as a Fire Direction Officer and Platoon Commanderwith Sierra Battery, 5th Battalion, 11th Marines and as the Executive Officer for Tango Battery,5/11; deploying with both to Operation Enduring Freedom. Later, I had thedistinct pleasure to serve as the Battery Commander for Golf Battery, 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines,deploying with Battalion Landing Team 2/1 aboard the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.My staff assignments include 11th Marines Artillery Training School OIC, 11th MarinesFire Direction Officer and Assistant Operations Officer, and 2/11 Assistant Operations Officer.In the Supporting Establishment, I served as an Artillery Gunnery Instructor and OICfor Artillery Instruction at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and Naval Weapons System Instructor andPhysics Instructor at the United States Naval Academy.I am a graduate of Recruit Training, Avionics Calibration and Repair School, TheBasic School, Marine Artillery Basic Officer Course, Command and Staff College, and TheNaval Postgraduate School.My personal decorations include: Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2), NavyMarine Corps Achievement Medal (3), Combat Action Ribbon, and Good Conduct Medal.
