I’m a Chief Architect responsible for the long-term design and evolution of complex systems — especially in environments where scale, regulatory pressure, and architectural clarity matter.My career spans mainframe automation, early web infrastructure, enterprise platforms, cloud transformation, and now AI-assisted architecture. That long view helps me see problems early and make decisions that hold up over time.I’m a technical leader, not a people manager. I lead through architecture, constraints, and judgment — working directly with engineers and executives to simplify complexity and reduce risk.I’ve built foundational platforms from inception, led rapid enterprise prototyping efforts, guided cloud adoption in regulated environments, and operated inside systems where availability, compliance, and performance were non-negotiable.I’m most effective when the stakes are high and the path forward isn’t obvious.

   Foundational architect and original author of the company’s core platform, initially as a consultant and later full-time as the system and business scaled.Designed and built the workflow orchestration platform enabling standards-compliant processing of millions of high-resolution images for institutions such as the Smithsonian and Library of Congress.Retain ownership of architectural direction and technical decision-making, including system design, technology selection, long-term evolution, and risk management.The system operates on-site in constrained environments and meets FADGI 3–4 star compliance, requiring extreme attention to correctness and durability.Platform has evolved for more than a decade without architectural reset, supporting long-lived institutions with effectively zero tolerance for failure.Use AI-assisted architecture as a force multiplier to explore design alternatives, reason about complex changes, and accelerate implementation while guiding high-impact tradeoffs.
