I specialise in property litigation and the management of risk associated with owning and occupying commercial property.I am particular keen to work with surveyors in order to identify clients\' commercial objectives with regard to commercial property issues and then develop a strategy for achieving those objectives as I firmly believe that the best results are achieved by specialist solicitors and surveyors working together. I am always happy to have a chat about any issues in the first instance so please do feel free to message me if there is anything that you want to just run by someone.My practice is predominantly focussed on issues relating to commercial property and development with a substantial element of my work relating to property management issues such as lease renewal procedures under the provisions of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, service charges, rent review and in particular dilapidations matters. Dilapidations claims, advising on schedules of dilapidations, potential dilapidations liability and so forth all form a significant part of the work I undertake. I am the founder of the LinkedIn Dilapidations Discussion forum and Interest Group - a group for professionals specialising in the field of dilapidations claims. This is a specialist area of law in which many will seek to advise but unfortunately lack the detailed specialist knowledge of the industry.
