Develop and maintain a secure, reliable and effective array of academic technology resources for use by 500 students, 600 faculty, and staff. Serves as IT advisor to the school’s Leadership and Faculty. Represent the Information Technology interests of the school at both parent institutions: UTHealth and MD Anderson Cancer Center; as well as externally. Responsible for the coordination, development and management of school-wide resources for the web, distance education, e-learning and the cloud utilizing principles and best practices of IT Service Management (ITSM), Project Management Framework (PMF) and the Software Design Life Cycle (SDLC.)
